TURKEY CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL
HVAC, LIGHTING, AND PAINTING MODIFICATIONS
AWARD OF CONTRACT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project is being planned by the engineering firm of The Walter Fedy Group, Inc. The scope of work provides for the replacement of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and ducts, new gymnasium lighting, and painting of three buildings. The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). The low bidder, Air Mechanical & Service Corp., is recommended. Project completion is scheduled for August 27, 2007.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Total funds in the amount of $490,328 are included in the District Capital Outlay: 2 Mill. The contract amount being awarded is $490,328.
