EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
An Agreement for Technical Services has been developed with Mike Schmoker to design, develop, and present training for high performing teachers. The provider will train new and returning teachers on June 5, 2007, on current trends and instructional techniques including a session from his book, Results Now, focusing on how teachers can achieve unprecedented improvements in teaching and learning. Approximately 400 K-12 teachers will participate and develop action plans for improving student achievement that will be implemented during the 2007/2008 school year. These plans and their implementation will be shared with other teachers during the Accomplished Teaching Academy in June 2008.
