On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed the architectural and construction management firms for the classroom additions at various schools. These additions are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. See Attachment A for list of schools, project scopes, architectural firms, and construction management firms. Approval of the design development phases will allow the architects to proceed with construction documents. Completion of each project is scheduled for July 2008.

Project budgets are shown in Attachment A. The estimate of probable cost for each project is under review to identify design strategies to insure budget compliance. These items are included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids (classroom additions) and 2 Mill (Newsome High School rifle range).
