SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the architectural firm of John J. McKenna Architect P.A. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Vogel Bros. Building Co. The scope of renovation includes new roofing, air conditioning equipment and ductwork, upgraded low voltage and electrical systems, flooring, canopy for Building 1, handicap accessibility modifications, and reconfiguration of existing bus and parent driveways.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for December 11, 2007.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $4,250,498. The construction budget is $4,350,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Community Investment Tax.
