Approve Workforce Education Fee Schedule for Adult Student Tuition and Financial Aid for Postsecondary Technical and Adult Education Programs, 2005-2006 (Adult Technical Education and Adult and Community Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Each year the Florida Legislature establishes minimum fee schedules for postsecondary technical and adult education programs. Staff members of the Departments of Adult Technical Education and Adult and Community Education have developed the recommended fee schedule for 2005-2006. The fee structure is based on careful consideration to provide the best possible adult general education and high-skill, high-wage occupational training in the most cost-effective delivery of services. The recommended student rate per hour is based on state required fees, student intent, and student residency status.

These fees are part of the local required effort and supplement and are included in the Workforce Education general operating budget.
