EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the architectural firm of Wilder Architecture, Inc. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Horus Construction Services, Inc. The scope of renovation includes new instructional aids and finishes, modifications to air conditioning, communication, power, and lighting systems, site grading and drainage improvements, and demolition of the original 1940's structure which includes the classrooms, cafeteria, and kitchen.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for December 11, 2007.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $3,435,865.25. The construction budget is $3,450,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO 05-06).
