Approve Agreement for Technical Services with Darina S. Glover for Website Services for the Mathematics and Science Partnerships Grant, “Math Matters and Digital Math” - $5,938 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The $1,284,500 Mathematics and Science Partnership grant “Math Matters and Digital Math” has specific requirements for full implementation during the grant period. One requirement is for a webpage to be created that will be updated monthly to show the progress of the grant. Math training modules and resources for teachers will be located on the website.

An Agreement for Technical Services has been developed with Darina S. Glover to design, implement, and maintain the project webpage for the duration of the grant project. Responsibilities of the provider include:

ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)

Goal 2 - The percentage of students scoring at Level 3 or higher or FCAT mathematics will increase a minimum of five percentage points.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Funds of $5,938 are included in the district special revenue/federal programs budget through the Mathematics and Science Partnership Grant, Project 1150.

EVALUATION

Evaluation of this component will be included in the overall Mathematics and Science Partnership Grant evaluation.
