Approve Request for Use of School Bus (School Board Vehicle) and Driver by Tampa Housing Authority
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Tampa Housing Authority is requesting transportation services to offer a summer enrichment program for the youth in Public Housing. Field trips will be offered beginning on May 29, 2007 through August 17, 2007. The field trips will provide the children with activities on various days. The activities offer instruction, athletics and recreation that may not be available without the support of the Tampa Housing Authority and the School District’s Transportation Department.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
There is no monetary impact to the District. The Tampa Housing Authority will be responsible for all school bus services rendered at the rate of $1.75 per mile and $30.00 per hour.
