Approve Interlocal Agreement with Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners to Provide for Summer Meals (Business Office)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board of Hillsborough County will contract with Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners to provide, daily, a lunch and snack to children participating in summer programs through the Hillsborough County Department of Parks and Recreation, City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Centers, and Police Athletic League. For the past decade, Student Nutrition Services has partnered with the county to help meet the nutritional needs of the children in the community by preparing and delivering summer meals.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
Goal 6 - All schools in the District will be assigned a state grade of A, B, or C.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Projected Net Profit to the Student Nutrition Program is $220,800.
