APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 2 - $822,026.99 CREDIT

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On January 17, 2006, the Board appointed The Architectural Practice, Inc. and Ellis Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. This new facility is a reuse of the Collins Elementary School design. As of the current boundaries, relief will be provided for Bryant Elementary School.

This change order provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2004C, Classrooms for Kids 2005, Community Investment Tax, and School Infrastructure Thrift Award.
