SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve the Retroactive Amendment of the Agreement for Technical Services for Vinicio Aguero, District Based Mentor Through the Preparing New Educators Program (Information and Technology)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Agreement for Technical Services for Vinicio Aguero, Contract #9727C, needs to be amended to reflect an increase in the amount of $1,193.12. The agreement was submitted in the amount of $2,400.00, but should have been $3,593.12. Therefore, it is necessary to amend the agreement in order to compensate Vinicio Aguero for the work he completed during the first semester of the current school year. During that time, at the request of the school administrators, he mentored 15 teachers at Armwood High School. He also mentored the Assistant Principal of Curriculum in the devising and setting up of an effective program of support and assistance for all the new teachers at Armwood.
