APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 7 - $26,919.00 NET EXTRA

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of The Architectural Practice, Inc. On May 16, 2006, the Board awarded the contract for construction management services to Ellis Construction Company, Inc. The scope of work provides for a new 720 student station elementary school.

This change order provides for cell tower revisions, modifications to range hood exhaust and the 46th Street entrance drive, stainless steel tube for kitchen hood, black vinyl fence, additional curb, epoxy paint in kitchen, and relocation of fire alarm strobes. Also included are credits for high abuse drywall in lieu of fiberock, and deletion of storm sewer section and stage curtain valance.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
