EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On August 19, 2003, the School Board approved a second amendment to the Interlocal Agreement with Hillsborough County to effectively continue the implementation of the 22nd Street Main Street Community Improvement project in the University area. This plan entailed the construction of the Kelton Health Clinic, future roadway improvements for the expansion of 22nd Street, joint stormwater facilities and utilization of joint parking and playfield areas.
As a continuation of this project, the County is requesting a conveyance of 18,843+/- square feet to create a right-of-way for use in the realignment of 22nd Street. This is identified as Parcel 103 on the attached site location map and is approximately 21 feet wide by 880 feet long. The County is also requesting a drainage easement of approximately 1.20 acres. This drainage easement is to enable maintenance of a pond site that is used for the 22nd Street drainage mitigation. It is identified as Parcel 800 on the attached site location map, abuts the eastern boundary of Parcel 103 and is approximately 210 feet by 220 feet.
This project is still ongoing and future requests will be made from time to time by the County as this area continues to be improved.
