Approve the Agreement with Education Logistics Inc. (EDULOG) for the Unlimited Map Maintenance for the Transportation Department (Information and Technology Division)

The Transportation Department utilizes the EDULOG System for defining routing and bus stops with Geocode Map. The EDULOG map information is critical to the accuracy of these bus routes and stops. This agreement provides for EDULOG to update our current map information and to maintain this data for a period of twelve months. EDULOG is the sole source owner of this proprietary transportation mapping software.

Goal 6.a.9 Transportation – Provide adequate, safe, and timely student transportation to allow for uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

The annual maintenance for the Geocode map will cost $24,000. These expenses will be funded from Erate revenues.

The agreement with EDULOG will be evaluated in six months and at the end of contract term to determine if it has met the map needs of the Transportation Department.
