EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Dual enrollment programs allow qualifying students in Grades 9-12 to be enrolled in both high school and the college with earned credits applying to both a high school diploma and a college degree. Dual enrollment course offerings, both on and off the high school campus, provide students greater academic options and considerable financial savings.
Between June 2006 and July 2007, approximately 2,984 students participated in the dual enrollment program and earned approximately 7,675 semester hours of college credit. The financial impact to students and parents was approximately $525,720 in tuition and textbook cost savings.ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
