Approve Agreement to Provide Maintenance Services for Metropolitan Ministries Academy on Vehicles Used to Transport Students
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The District has a proven Transportation Department and is capable of providing required preventive and repair services for charter school buses when applicable and feasible. Inspection of school buses is required to be performed by DOE State Certified Inspectors. Metropolitan Ministries Academy has agreed to reimburse the District for maintenance and repair costs. In order to prepare for the new school year, a request is being made to commence this contract effective August 8, 2007 through June 30, 2008.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
The District will be reimbursed for services provided. These costs are subject to increase. District reimbursement is based on labor plus cost of parts and materials, plus 5 1/2%.
