Accept Partnership Incentives from Hewlett Packard (HP) for Marketing of Student and Employee Purchase Program
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
As part of the Technology Partnership agreement approved by the School Board on May 2, 2006, $100,000 will be donated by HP for the purpose of marketing technology equipment incentives for students and employees. This $20,000 donation is the first installment of the five annual payments. The funds will be deposited into an account with the Hillsborough Education Foundation and will be utilized as marketing plans are developed.
ANNUAL DISTRICT GOAL(S) AND CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR(S)
The goal of fiscal responsibility is addressed by this donation.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
During the five year agreement period, a total of $100,000 will be donated by HP.
