Approve Renewal Contract with Youth Environmental Services, Inc., for Dropout Prevention Program, 2005-2006 - $146,786 (Technical and Career Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Youth Environmental Services, Inc. (YES) provides a 240-day residential dropout prevention youth services program for 33 youths who have been adjudicated delinquent by the courts and who are under the Department of Juvenile Justice supervision. YES provides the facility and all of the personnel for the educational program with support and oversight by the District Youth Services program. The school district collects FTE for all students served.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Estimated cost of the contract is $146,786. The FTE generated by this program covers the cost of the contract as well as the district 10% administrative costs allowed by the Florida Department of Education.
