EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project is being planned by the architectural firm of the Architectural Practice, Inc. On August 24, 2004, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Ellis Construction, Inc. This new facility will be a reuse of the Corr Elementary School design.
Approval of the guaranteed price will provide a maximum cost for the facility. Project completion is scheduled for January 13, 2006.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $11,257,698, which includes $1,652,708 for extraordinary costs for site work, hurricane shelter costs, acceleration of buildings 4 and 5, and compliance with class size reduction criteria. The construction budget is $11,257,698. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Certificates of Participation Series 2002.
