This project was planned by the architectural firm of Ranon & Partners, Inc. On March 12, 2002, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Mathews Construction. The scope of work includes the addition of 20 classrooms to meet class size reduction requirements. It also provides for the addition of a free standing 3,211 square foot field house building. The field house will include girls and boys locker rooms, gang restrooms, coaches offices and a conference room.

Change Order No. 1 for the Classrooms for Kids addition provides for the repair of asphalt damage in the existing parking lot, relocation and/or removal of unforeseen utilities within the footprint of the new building pad, and water line modifications. Change Order No. 1 for the Field House addition provides for welded lockers in lieu of knock-down lockers.

Critical Success Factor 6.a.8 - Provide sufficient student stations to ensure uninterrupted student learning and data gathering as measured by District Operational Goals plan.

These items are included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids (CFK) for the CFK addition and Community Investment Tax for the Field House addition.
