EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Woodroffe Corporation Architects. On November 18, 2003, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Hardin Construction. This new facility is a reuse of the Chiles Elementary School design. Based on the current boundaries, relief has been provided for Clark, Heritage, Hunter's Green, and Pride Elementary Schools.
Change Order No. 2 provides for price increases in roofing materials. Change Order No. 3 provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District. Change Order No. 4 provides a credit to the Owner Controlled Insurance Program. Change Order No. 5 provides for building changes as required by the Department of Education. It also provides a credit for deletion of the lightning protection and alarm voice evacuation systems in the dining area.
