EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Robbins, Bell, & Kreher, Inc. On February 6, 2001, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Beck, Ltd. On November 8, 2001, the Board approved an interlocal agreement with Hillsborough County conveying property to the School District for construction of Muller Elementary School and the North County Career Center. In exchange, the School District agreed to provide a permanent site to accommodate a Social Services Center co-located with the schools. On March 19, 2003, a second interlocal agreement with the County was approved authorizing the School District to oversee the design and construction of the new facility. To date, the County has committed funding in the amount of $1,123,761, which includes $958,761 for construction. On April 6, 2004, the School District approved the Guaranteed Maximum Price of $831,998.
The architect advises that the referenced project is substantially complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
