Recognition of Stewart Middle Magnet School Aerospace Program by K.B. Home

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Stewart Middle Magnet School corporate sponsor, K.B. Home, is sponsoring two teachers, Lynn McDaniel, Lead Teacher and Vivian Smithwick, Gifted Science teacher by providing V.I.P. passes to attend the NASA Discovery launch scheduled July 12, 2005, from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

K.B. Home, one of the nation’s premier homebuilders, launched a national promotion in support of America’s space shuttle program encouraging all Americans to wear ‘Discovery 2005’ wristbands until the crew is home safe as a patriotic symbol of unity in support of the Discovery crew and the space program. K.B. Home provided the wristbands to all students at Stewart Middle Magnet School.
