SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On July 14, 2009, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Wilder Architecture, Inc. to provide design services. On October 20, 2009, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Batson-Cook Company. The scope of work provides for an additional 16 classrooms. This addition is necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. Project completion is scheduled for August 9, 2010.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the facility.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $2,993,958. The construction budget is $2,994,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids.
