Approve Change Order No. 3 in the Credit Amount of $246,509.62, Change Order No. 4 in the Credit Amount of $453,268.31, Change Order No. 5 in the Credit Amount of $390,776.44, and Change Order No. 6 in the Credit Amount of $592,617.30 for
Stowers Elementary School and Barrington Middle School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

These projects were planned by the architectural firm of Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. On June 7, 2005, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Batson-Cook Company, Inc. Stowers Elementary School and Barrington Middle School opened in August 2009 and relieved overcrowding at Bevis, Boyette Springs, FishHawk Creek, and Lithia Springs Elementary Schools and Eisenhower, Randall, and Rodgers Middle Schools.

Change Orders No. 3 and 4 provide for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program for Stowers Elementary School and Barrington Middle School respectively. Change Orders No. 5 and 6 provide a credit for the return of unused contingency funds for Stowers Elementary School and Barrington Middle School respectively.
