SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On May 20, 2008, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Woodroffe Corporation Architects to provide design services. On July 15, 2008, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Batson-Cook Company. The scope of work provided for an additional 10 classrooms. This addition was necessary to meet class size reduction requirements.
Change Order No. 2 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. Change Order No. 3 provides a credit for project savings and the return of unused contingency funds.
The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
