Recognition of Schools and Individuals that Provided Exhibits and Supported the 2010 Florida State Fair
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Over the last 30 years, many individuals and schools have worked diligently to build and display outstanding exhibits at the Florida State Fair showcasing Hillsborough County Public Schools. During the 2010 Florida State Fair, 24 schools displayed outstanding educational exhibits and four schools were designated "Best of Show". The district's exhibits were made possible through the efforts of the State Fair committee, along with the financial support of the Education Foundation, and the efforts of our principals, sponsors, and students. The State Fair Committee is requesting that the School Board recognize schools and individuals that provided exhibits and supported the 2010 Florida State Fair, and to announce and recognize the "Best of Show" exhibits.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Supplies and materials totaling $3,500 was expended from the fair budget which is supplied by the Hillsborough Education Foundation.
