SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Award of Contract for Furniture Refinishing Addition at
Maintenance Operations Center

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Howard & Associates Architects, P.A. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. The scope of work provides for an addition to the existing building to house the Furniture Refinishing Department.

The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Award of the contract to the low bidder, Kenyon & Partners, Inc. is recommended.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

Total funds in the amount of $327,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $326,700.
