Approve Agreement for Use of Facilities with Vaughn Bay Construction for School Board Property at 4310 Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa

The School Board of Hillsborough County owns approximately 5 acres of vacant land located at 4310 East Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa. The School Board was approached by Vaughn Bay Construction to utilize a portion of the property on Hillsborough Avenue as a construction staging area during the rehabilitation project being conducted at two adjacent apartment complexes. Vaughn Bay will pay a monthly rental to the School Board of $2,000 and provide security and their own fencing. After completion, the portion used by Vaughn Bay will be regraded and any School Board fencing removed will be replaced. The term of the Agreement is for one (1) year from the execution date of the Agreement, with the School Board retaining the right to reduce, restrict or terminate the Agreement with 30 days written notice.

The Use of Facilities Agreement has been reviewed by the School Board Attorney as to form and sufficiency and deemed acceptable.

The rental income of $2,000 per month for the term of the Use of Facilities Agreement with Vaughn Bay Construction for School Board owned property at 4310 East Hillsborough Avenue will be receipted to Land Proceeds.
