EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We would like to recognize the following Career and Technical Education students who are currently enrolled in the Fashion Marketing program at Sickles High School:

Lainey Dunn, 1st Place Winner - $750

Dammy Oshodi, 4th Place Winner

These students are being recognized for their recent achievements in the Entrepreneurship and Youth Business Plan competitions they participated in through their membership in DECA – An Association of Marketing Students.

Both students initially received awards in the Entrepreneurship Participating Event at the District 8 DECA Competitive Events in December 2009. Dammy placed third and Lainey placed fourth in this competition. Their teacher and DECA Advisor, Rebecca Anzevino, encouraged them to enter the Alpha Kappa Alpha Youth Business Plan Competition following their success at the District 8 DECA Competitive Events.
