EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 3, 2009, the Board appointed the engineering firm of ASR Engineering, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work provides for renovation of the HVAC system on the majority of the campus and includes new cooling and air handling equipment; new ductwork; and a new energy management system. The project scope also includes new lighting and ceilings, and adds a fire sprinkler system to the main building. The Board has previously approved the purchase of major equipment for the project.
The project was advertised and bids received (see attachment). Award of the contract as indicated on the attachment to the low bidder, J.O. DeLotto & Sons, Inc., is recommended.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Total funds in the amount of $1,490,000 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $1,487,777.
