We request approval of the agreement to host with Kagan to conduct a professional development in-service titled “Kagan Dynamic Trainer” for elementary science and mathematics district trainers on June 22 and June 23, 2010. The attached agreement includes responsibilities of the district and Kagan to ensure a successful professional development training. The training will be held at Seminole Elementary for approximately 80 teachers.

The "Kagan Dynamic Trainer" two day training will focus on Kagan strategies and techniques to enhance professional development delivery that include team building, class building, processing and brainstorming.

Funds of $23,920 to cover the full contract cost of 80 elementary science and mathematics district trainers are available from Title 1.
