Approve the Recommendation Regarding the Purchase of "ProjectLearn Academy" from Tech4Learning, Inc. (Sole-Source Provider) (Business Division)

These items from Tech4Learning, Inc. are considered sole source items and are exempt from the bidding process per Department of Education 6A1.012 purchasing policies.

The primary goal of "ProjectLearn Academy" is to improve student academic achievement through the use of technology in elementary schools and secondary schools. By offering this course to our Title I teachers, we are providing the tools to implement project based learning with creative and innovative software applications. Additionally, participants are agreeing to complete a 10-hour follow-up Modular Object Oriented Distance Learning Environment (MOODLE) course to assure that these skills are brought back to the students in the classroom.
