Approve the Agreement for Technical Services for Patricia Bishop (Information and Technology)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In order to implement the Gates Project Teacher Evaluation, valid and reliable tests must be available for all district courses. The provider will train subject-area supervisors in the areas of Career and Technical Education and Language Arts to review and revise all semester examinations. The provider will monitor these items. There are over 500 examinations that must be reviewed over the summer and changes must be made before the examinations can be administered for the 2010/2011 school year. The provider is especially skilled in this area and will support the Department of Assessment and Accountability in completing this assignment for the district.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)

The contract total in the amount of $8,686.64 which includes fringe benefits is part of the department's teacher consultant budget for Formative Assessment for the 2010/2011 school year.
