EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
All appropriate testing security measures are strictly enforced to ensure the integrity of testing administration so that the district may continue to serve adults through GED Testing Services. The locations are established to provide the most convenient and suitable test sites, and all sites have been inspected and approved by the GED administrator from the Florida Department of Education.
Since 1946, the GED Testing Program in Hillsborough County has been available to those adults who wish to establish the credentials of a high school diploma. During the 2009/2010 school year, 4,500 individuals took the GED Test; 2,480 passed all sections of the test and were awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma.
As directed by the Department of Education, the attached contract listing Bowers-Whitley Career Center as the official testing site will serve as legal representation for all testing sites.
