Approve Purchase of the Super Source Resource Library for Use on the Elementary Mathematics Curriculum Database (Curriculum and Instruction Division)

We request approval to purchase the Super Source Resource Library for use on the Elementary Mathematics Curriculum Database. The Super Source Resource Library is a digital collection of mathematics activities for grades K-5. All teachers at elementary school sites will have access to this library via the online Elementary Mathematics Curriculum Database.

The Super Source Resource Library contains lessons that are aligned to our Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS). These lessons will be correlated through our online database to facilitate the use of them during Differentiated Instruction and Response to Intervention (RtI) implementation. The digital collection also includes professional development videos illustrating how to implement these activities in the classroom.

This purchase will provide all current elementary schools with unlimited access to the online lessons and teacher professional development. Additionally, this one-time cost allows for future growth in our district so that new elementary sites will have access as well.

Funds of $50,000 are included in the Metro Math budget (Project 4412).

Use of this resource will be measured through the tracking system embedded within our Elementary Mathematics Curriculum Database.
