EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Agreement for Educational Services renews the commitment by the district to compensate Support, Inc. for the cost of utilities incurred by the use of classroom space by the Department of Adult Education.
A site survey was conducted and determined the space occupied by the Adult Education program represented 17% of the overall facility. Upon the School Board approval, the Department of Adult Education agrees to pay a flat fee of $4,000 to Support, Inc. toward electrical utility costs for the year. (The $4,000 figure represents approximately 17% of the previous year's utility expenses of the Support, Inc. facility.)
Classes offered at Support, Inc. include Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development (GED) preparation as well as instruction in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
