SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Adjustment to the 2010-2011 School Year Teacher Calendar.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
By agreement with the Hillsborough Classroom Teachers Association (HCTA), adjust the agreed upon early release days by scheduling regular school days on May 25 and June 8, 2011. As a result of this adjustment, February 11, 2011, currently a non-student/non-teacher day in West Hillsborough County, will become a planning day for teachers in West Hillsborough County. March 7, 2011, currently a non-student/non-teacher day in East Hillsborough County, will become a planning day for teachers in East Hillsborough County.
- Friday, June 10, 2011, will become the last student day, therefore, making Tuesday, June 14, 2011, the last teacher day.
- Less than 12-month teacher end dates will be adjusted to reflect the change in student end date.
