On November 18, 2008, the Board appointed Forney Engineering, Inc. to provide design services. On May 19, 2009, the contract for construction was awarded to the low bidder, Air Mechanical & Service Corp. The scope of work provided for a complete renovation of the HVAC system at Summerfield Elementary School. The scope also included replacement of existing lighting with new energy efficient lighting.

The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.

This item was included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Construction Funds.
