Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $9,754.30, a Time Extension of 143 Calendar Days, and Acceptance of Project for Chiller Plant Replacement at
Mintz Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the engineering firm of GLE Associates, Inc. On June 6, 2006, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Air Mechanical and Service Corp. The scope of work provided for the replacement of mechanical system components, including the chillers and air handler.

This change order provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program. A time extension is included for delays associated with delivery of the equipment which was directly purchased by the School District.

The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
