EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed John J. McKenna Architect P.A. and Manhattan Construction Company to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provides for the addition of 12 classrooms. This addition is necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. Project completion is scheduled for August 4, 2008.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the facility.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Construction cost is warranted at $1,894,500, which includes $46,500 for extraordinary site conditions (storm sewer demolition, sewer piping, fill for building pad, sod and seed for existing retention pond). The construction budget is $1,894,500. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Classrooms for Kids.
