Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Amount of $19,284.85 Extra and Change Order No. 2 in the Credit Amount of $126,487.86 for Roofing and HVAC Replacement at
Chamberlain High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the architectural firm of Tagliarini Architectural Group, PA. On May 29, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to the low bidder, Cason Construction Management, Inc. The scope of work includes a new roof over the Gym and Cafeteria and replacement of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system.

Change Order No. 1 provides for mechanical and electrical modifications that were beyond the scope of the original contract. Change Order No. 2 provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance ($809,792) and 2 Mill ($320,000).
