On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed Harvard Jolly, Inc. and Greater Bay Construction Co., Inc. to provide design and construction management services. This addition is necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. The scope of work provides for the addition of 12 classrooms. Project completion is scheduled for August 4, 2008.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the facility.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

Construction cost is warranted at $2,077,794, which includes $230,614 for extraordinary conditions (brick exterior, excessive tree removal, rerouting of sanitary lines, pressure grouting, sunshades, site access).
