Approve Change Order No. 2 in the Amount of $19,433.90 Extra for Demolition and Replacement at
Tinker Elementary School, Temporary Campus

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On March 8, 2005, the Board appointed the architectural firm of Gould Evans Associates with Manhattan Construction Company providing construction management services. The scope of work includes the demolition and replacement of the Administration, Media, and classrooms buildings. The scope also includes establishment of a temporary campus of 35 portables to house students and faculty until completion of the replacement facilities. On September 7, 2006, the Board approved a separate guaranteed maximum price (GMP) for construction of the temporary campus.

This change order to the GMP for the temporary campus provides for two additional portables and related stormwater pond revisions to supply the space needed at the site.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
