Approve Change Order No. 6 in the Amount of $13,808.64 Extra for Classroom Addition at
Durant High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On January 17, 2006, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. and Christiano Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work includes 24 new classrooms plus 2 student toilets, providing 600 additional student stations. This addition is necessary to meet class size reduction requirements.

This change order provides for revisions to the new fire alarm system in the classroom addition to make it compatible with the new fire alarm system recently installed throughout the existing facility.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
