Approve the Agreement to Provide Meals for Village of Excellence Charter School (VOE) (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has been asked to be a meal vendor for Village of Excellence Charter School (VOE). VOE is a sponsor of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). SNS is an authorized NSLP meal vendor with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Under this agreement, SNS would provide bulk meal service that meets USDA nutritional requirements to VOE. The filing of monthly reimbursement claims and maintaining all required USDA documentation is the sole responsibility of VOE. SNS will invoice VOE each month for the total amount of meals ordered. A contract outlining SNS and VOE responsibilities is attached.
