Approve Agreement to Reimburse Transporter for Transportation by Private Vehicle (Retroactive)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Due to the severity of the student's behavior, there were limited choices of private transportation. In order to continue to provide exceptional student educational services, in compliance with this student's individual education plan (IEP) and to ensure the student's safety, it was necessary to arrange private transportation services. We are requesting retroactive approval for transportation services provided for this student from January 9, 2007 through May 24, 2007, and for the extended school year which commenced on June 11, 2007. Approval for transportation services for this child for the current school year is also requested.

Funds have been allocated in the Transportation Department's budget for reimbursement in the amount of $12,040.00.
