Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $317,759.44 for Classrooms for Kids Addition at
Lutz Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed Harvard Jolly, Inc. and Greater Bay Construction Co., Inc. to provide design and construction management services. This addition was necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. The scope of work provides for the addition of 12 classrooms.

This change order provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials, in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.
