EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed John J. McKenna Architect P.A. and W.G. Mills, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. These additions are necessary to meet class size reduction requirements. The scope of work provides for the following additions: 14 classrooms at Maniscalco Elementary School and 12 classrooms at Marshall Middle School. Completion of each project is scheduled for August 4, 2008.
The Board previously increased the Maniscalco Elementary School addition from 12 classrooms to 14, concurrent with approval of the Design Development documents.
Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for each facility.
