On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith and Hills, Inc. and Mathews Construction to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities provides for a new walkway canopy and fire sprinkler system; reconfiguration of driveways and visitor parking; interior and exterior painting; and replacement of roof, plumbing fixtures, exterior doors, low voltage systems, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

This change order provides for the attachment of existing rooftop mechanical equipment to the building, to meet code requirements. A credit is included for work deleted from the scope.

Provide adequate school facilities for the accomplishment of all District Goals and Critical Success Factors.

This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Capital Outlay and Debt Service (CO and DS) 06A ($3,000,000) and Community Investment Tax (CIT) 06 ($450,000).
